Like any organization, the CCR has rules which guide its members in its work and keep it together. This document provides the “official” version of those rules. It is available in Latin, English, and a Latin-English edition.

As briefly discussed elsewhere, and as fully discussed in this document, the CCR is a private association of Christian faithful. As such, its rule has not been recognized by the hierarchy of the Church and does not bind any of its members under pain of sin.

Rather, the Rule is a set of guidelines, designed to help our members become better, holier people, and to do more easily do the prayer, fasting, and good works that are an essential part of Christian life. That is, the Rule is:

In this, we think it does very well; and the Rule should provide an excellent guide for members working toward the goals of the CCR.
