Members of the CCR come in three types, depending on the level of commitment and work that can be brought to the Confraternity. One can be a comes, or comrade; a miles, or soldier; or a eques, or knight. The promises made by the individual vary depending on the type of membership.

These obligations are also available summarized.

The simple story is as follows:

comes
takes on no obligation except to pray for the ends of the Confraternity: namely, the work done by the CCR and for the restoration of the social reign of Christ the King. Anyone, male or female, sixteen years of age or older may be a comes.
miles
Prays more for the CCR; also may vote and participate in the meetings of the chapter, and does good works in the name of the CCR.
eques
Prays still more for the CCR, and does all the other things that a miles does. There is no visible difference, or difference in active role, from the miles here; an eques merely makes a commitment to greater prayer for the work of the CCR than others do.
